HBO X COMIC CON
WATCHMEN 2020

In partnership with NYCC, and as part of our promotional efforts for the premiere of HBO’s Watchmen, we took over the community lounge at Comic Con (!) to create an immersive, Watchmen-themed experience for attendees. The space was outfitted with carefully featured costumes from the set.

We partnered with a well-known illustrator, Obi Arisukwu, to create live portraits, and with a host of prominent Black nerd collectives for a discussion and reception celebrating representation in the comic book space.

The lounge was open all weekend, available for people to network and refresh comfortably.
