HBO MAX @ SUNDANCE
2019 - 2020

2020: In celebration of the first weekend of the Sundance Film Festival 2020, WarnerMedia’s HBO, TNT and TBS took over Firewood Restaurant and re-branded it as ‘Our Stories to Tell’. Located in the heart of Main Street, the three-day pop up celebrated multicultural audiences, creators and storytelling. ‘Our Stories to Tell’ was home to 11 interactive and engaging events which showcased ongoing initiatives that authentically engage Black, Asian American, LGBTQ+, and Latinx audiences in collaboration with Blackhouse and the Asian Pacific Filmmakers Experience.

  • Photographer Raven Verona produced over 300+ portraits

  • 400+ gifs and images were taken at the 'Our Stories to Tell' branded photo booth

Influencers and celebrities such as Issa Rae, Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis, Alexander Hodge, Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria, Gina Rodriguez, America Ferrera, Nika King, and Kendrick Sampson attended events held at 'Our Stories to Tell' throughout the weekend.

2019: In celebration of the first weekend of the Sundance Film Festival, HBO spearheaded a multi-company partnership under the WarnerMedia umbrella. Taking over Tupelo Restaurant’s three-level space, re-branded as ‘The Inn’, HBO facilitated activations for WarnerMedia, HBO, TBS, TNT and Otter Media. Located in the heart of Main Street, ‘The Inn’ was home to 9 events that took place during the course of the weekend for select influencers, press and VIP guests..
