WATCHMEN
The Atlantic: ReThink
In support of HBO’s Watchmen, we partnered with The Atlantic to create an original graphic novella retelling the buried history of the Tulsa Massacre, the event that opens the show. The graphic depicts the events preceding and following the massacre. The imagery was complemented by historical context and an exploration of the future Tulsa could have had if the massacre had not happened.
This piece was the best-performing branded partnership from The Atlantic:ReThink - 90x benchmark for social actions, 17x benchmark for pageviews, and #1 for viewers who returned to the piece more than once.
